While the streets in Iran were filled with protestors who had had more than enough of the Islamic Republic, Phil and I were safely here, wondering how to breathe a bit more life into &#8216;Box&#8217;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Watching the terrifying response of the IRGC murdering thousands upon thousands of Iranians, young and old, and seeing the near-indifference of the mainstream media and the western world to all this was a deeply shocking start to the year. At the time of writing this &#8211; late February &#8211; the protests are still happening,  but the news has gone even quieter.  The Iranians are saying: &#8220;Don&#8217;t forget about us! We are here, and fighting!&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well I&#8217;m not forgetting, and if this song just reminds one person about what is happening and what is at stake, then that is a good thing by me. <br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>January 2026.
